Miles has Diabetes and Other Pet Health Struggles

Hiya, first time making one of these. We've found ourselves in a spot where our pets are getting older and are starting to develop difficult health conditions. Today we learned that Miles has diabetes. (That's him in the photo.) Insulin is very pricey for him (the best price was ~$89 for 1-2 month supply), the inhaler is incredibly expensive (the cheapest I found has been over $200), and he will have follow-up visits frequently while we get his diabetes regulated.

In addition to his struggle, Thomas (who has kidney disease) has a dental appointment in 2 weeks and the cost will likely be over $1,000. The vet allows payment plans, but the down payment is still significant. Plus we have an existing plan right now for past "events." They will no longer roll new visits into existing plans, so that would ultimately leave us with 2 monthly bills that would be over $100 each, something that is not sustainable right now.
