Miles Koehler Burn Support

Last night my good friend Miles Koehler was badly burned and lost practically everything he owns. I’m creating this page to help with his medical bills, replace some of what he’s lost and help him through his healing process. he’s currently at Saint Barnabas burn unit and is getting the best care he can receive. he still needs all the love and support we can give him so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
*update on miles’ condition*
Many of us are suffering right now. Add my son Miles Koehler to the long list. His tiny one-bedroom apartment caught fire Friday night. He lost every worldly possession - and almost lost his life trying to put the fire out.
He is on life support, in critical condition with second and third degree burns over his face, head, hands, arms, neck, and back. We cannot visit him due to his critical state and COVID. This morning we learned "his head is the size of a basketball" due to swelling. He is in restraints so that he can't pull the ventilator tube out - if he does, the swelling will prevent it from being replaced.
We are thankful to learn today that his vitals are good. He is a strong boy. But we are told he will be hospitalized for at least a month, enduring excruciating baths in "the tank", bandage changes, and physical therapy - every day. Then, he will endure grafts and surgeries, spanning years, to correct his deformities.
Anyone who comes to know miles, quickly recognizes his kindness, wit, humor, and many talents. Any acts of kindness, from anywhere and anyone, may help him recover what little he had – and who he was.
