Miles Krueger Memorial Scholarship Fund

Miles Krueger our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 16. Miles was a junior and basketball player at Lake Central High School and played for many years at Schererville Baseball. He was the consummate prankster and loved to make people laugh. Miles was a huge Chicago (Cubs, Sox, Bulls, Hawks, Bears) sports and Notre Dame football fan and loved going to games.

In lieu of flowers or donations for funeral expenses, Miles' family is asking all who are able to donate to a scholarship memorial fund to be established in his loving memory that will benefit a Lake Central High School student each year that may not qualify for high-academic achieving or athletic scholarships, however, aspires to attend college or trade school.

The family intends to have an annual fundraising event to raise funds for the Miles Krueger Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The services for Miles will be held on January 1, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. with prayer services at 5 p.m. at Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th Ln. St. John, IN 46373.

There is however no deadline to give. For donations of more than $1,000 or more, please contact Amanda Krueger or Ryan Shelton directly.
