Miles of Smiles to help Teardrops and DOTS

Donation protected
My name is Melissa I have a rare condition called Angelman Syndrome. It’s a complex genetic disorder which affects every aspect of my life. I have delayed development , intellectual disabilities, epilepsy and I cannot speak. I need 24 hour care and will do so for the rest of my life but I don’t let this stop me challenging myself to help charities. Two such organisations are very close to my heart, Teardrops which is a local charity in St Helens helping homeless and vulnerable people. Dogs on the Streets who support homeless and vulnerable people and their pets In London and other major UK cities. The work these two charities do is amazing and invaluable to help people when they are most in need. On the 19th June I shall attempt to walk around the pitches of 6 Rugby League clubs using my wheelchair for support. This will be quite a challenge as walking for me has always been difficult I have Femoral Anteversion Which means there is a twist in my thigh bones they turn inward I fall frequently & have problems with balance & coordination but, I am determined to raise as much as I can to divide equally between the Two charities. Thank you very much for your support and please donate a little if you are able. Much Love and Smiles Melissa x
