Miles Worthwhile

Hi, our names are Lindsey Carter and Sara Kennel; a couple months ago we were inspired to organize a fundraiser dedicated to a cause we are passionate about: supporting human trafficking victims. Since we were already beginning to train for a half marathon, we thought it was the perfect activity to turn into a fundraiser. Worthwhile Wear is a local nonprofit organization that was created to help women in these situations, and we would like to do everything we can to support them with this event. We will be running our half marathon on February 20, 2021, and we would appreciate any additional support you could offer to help us reach our goal by that date. We will continue to post updates regarding our training progress and plans for the event itself. Additional information about Worthwhile Wear : Worthwhile Wear exists to reach and restore women who have been sexually exploited and trafficked, both internationally and in the U.S. We do this by providing work to survivors of human trafficking in India, and offering long-term care and housing to survivors in the US.
