Miles' Surgery Recovery

Hi everyone! On March 2nd, 2020 I am having surgery that will change my life. This gender confirming surgery will help me feel at home in my body but it will also keep me from working for three months. During the first month (March) I will be restricted from leaving my apartment at all and for the next two months I will be required to rest most hours of the day. 

Today I am asking for your financial support for the recovery period. Fortunately insurance will cover most of the procedure, however the costs related to recovery are great and I need your help to afford them.

The amount I am trying to raise will cover my rent and utilities for three months, medical fees that may not covered by insurance, and food/transportation. I am lucky to have amazing personal support from both friends and family, who have generously volunteered to take care of me. For this I am so deeply grateful.

Self determination is the greatest gift, but also can be the greatest challenge. No one is able to pursue something like this on their own. I am afraid of the challenges that the next few months will bring, physical and emotional, but I know and trust that I am not alone.
