Miles 4 Miracles

On January 19th 2015, one of the Treadmill's Saturday Fun Run regular Gabriel Casapia was diagnised with a medulla plastoma brain tumor.
After being rushed into a 9-hour emergency surgery, followed by a week in the intensive care unit, Gabriel's brain still had significant fluid around it, which left this vibrant 9 year old boy immobile and unable to communicate.
Gabriel will be undergoing his second round of chemotherapy starting May 5th. It's been a avery difficult financial burden for the Casapia family, and The Treadmill wants to help.
As a father of a 4 and 2 year old girls myself, I'm heartbroken to imagine being in the Casapia families situation, so I've agreed to undertake an incredibly difficult physical challenge. With only four weeks notice, I will attempt to bike 200 miles with over 17,000ft of climbing in one weekend. On May 30th I will be attempting to complete a 80 mile bike ride with 7,000ft of climbing, followed by a 120 mile bike ride with 10,000ft of climbing on May 31st.
With so much for Gabriel's mom and dad to worry about, please consider supporting this local family and help the Casapia's focus their energy on Gabriel and not the financial stress of this unfortunate situation.
