Miles For Make-A-Wish
Tax deductible
Three years ago things were going great for me, I was on this upward streak and nothing seemed impossible... then, in July 2014 I suffered a personal setback that made me really stop and look at life and what really matters to me. My experiences since then has only served to motivate me further - to challenge myself in ways I never dreamt of before.
I made a list of goals/dreams/possiblities and while some of them are, at present, a bit out of reach some are not.
One of these goals is to bike the Erie Canalway. This summer I plan on making that dream a reality by going on their annual bike tour ... July 10-17th, Buffalo to Albany, 400 miles in 8 days.
This started out as a personal journey/challenge but I wanted to do something bigger than just doing it for me because I am keenly aware that not everyone has been as fortunate as I have been.
So, I've decide to turn this personal challenge into something that will benefit others who are struggling with just surviving, let alone being able to live out their dreams.
Make-A-Wish has been near and dear to my heart since it started in 1980. Wishes give children, who are suffereing from life-threatening medical conditions, hope - it gives them something to look forward to and look back on.
All donations are tax deductible and go directly to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every little bit helps, anything you can give is greatly appreciated.
