Miley’s Sagittal Craniosynostosis Journey

Hi, my name is Aimee and I’m fundraising for my daughter Miley.

Miley is 6 months old and was diagnosed with a condition called ‘Sagittal Craniosynostosis’ when she was a day old after needing a CT scan as they picked up an abnormal head shape on her 36 week scan. This condition means that Miley’s sagittal suture that runs along the top of the head has fused too early. This has resulted in Miley needing a skull operation when she is 9-12 months old. It is a 8-9 hour operation and it is going to be down in Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

I am trying to raise money to help us get back and fore Birmingham and our time down there with Miley. With the possibility of us needing to book our own accommodation while Miley is in hospital. With any money unused will be going to a craniosynostosis charity.
