Milind’s Ironman for Newstead Wood Grammar school

Hi, my name is Milind Chaudhari and I am fundraising for my local grammar school, Newstead Wood, Orpington.

Students benefit immensely from the quality education and care at Newstead; creating leaders, professionals of tomorrow. The persistent funding cuts and the ongoing cost of living challenges have put considerable strains on the school resources.

Newstead have launched a fundraising campaign, “Designing Futures, Realising Dreams”, for improving the facilities and learning environment. This ambitious campaign aims to raise £500,000.

I participated an Ironman event in Sweden on 19th Aug 2023 and completed it in 14hrs 55mins, well ahead of the 16 hrs cut-off. (More result details at Ironman’s website https://www.ironman.com/im-kalmar-results my race bib number was 1739)

With my employer, Barclays’ matched-funding, we are going to double the amount and make real difference to many students. I truly appreciate and thank you for whatever you can donate.
