Jennifer Bennett is a Navy veteran, Marine-mom, strong, single mom of 5 (Nick 20, Josh 17, Izzie 13, Alan 7 and Ruby 4), and struggling now that her son, Joshua, was struck in a hit and run on Saturday evening, January 29th, 2022. Josh was skateboarding home along rt. 50 in Orlando, FL when a car struck him (they believe) at 50mph. There was a hole in the windshield! Josh was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical, where he endured a surgery to remove two blood clots from his brain.
Josh was a 16 years old junior at Timber Creek High School when this accident happened. He is the sweetest soul with such a kind, loving heart. He loved skateboarding, listening to music, hanging out with friends, learning about different cultures, food and religions. He wanted to go to University of Central Florida to study to be a psychologist. He wanted to go to Prom. His world will never be the same.
My name is Michelle. Jennifer and I have been best friends since the 7th grade. They have prevailed through so much. This tragedy comes along side her daughter's fight with Cystic Fibrosis. Jennifer's job is no longer secure. I can only help so much. Your support would be so appreciated. Please help this family and keep Josh in your prayers.
Thank you.
