My dear friend is in a unhealthy domestic situation and needs out ASAP.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

Unfortunately, it is unsafe for me to share even the woman's first name with you, but please trust me this is very real and the situation is dire.

Mom works freelance and has been pursuing a masters, but hasn’t been able to work recently because she’s the main caregiver. She’s the kind of person who is always ready to help others, and has a really hard time asking for and accepting help for herself. She’s brilliant, kind, funny, and generous to a fault, and she’s at her limit. She has no other option but to ask for help.

She needs $10k within the next week to pay for an apartment– deposit, first month’s rent, for utilities and basics.

WE CAN DO THIS. LET’S SET HER FREE

The spouse works from home, has installed cameras everywhere, and monitors all of her social media, cell phone bills, etc. She has gotten advice that she should prepare to be able to grab her girls and leave ASAP, and not go back to the house for anything.

Because of the state they live in, she cannot file for divorce until one of them moves out, and the spouse is NOT LEAVING.

PLEASE GIVE ANYTHING YOU CAN. We must get her out!
