MILITARY MUSEUM BAD FALLINGBOSTEL
Donation protected
Hey You!
Please take the time to read this until the end! This is not a chain letter. This is the effort to make a Christmas miracle happen. I am calling on everyone, all military personal, veterans, experts or just any one who ever lost any familymember or friend in war. We want to help an ex tankie kevin greenhalgh to keep the fallingbostel military museum going. If you have not heard of it before it is a private run museum that remembers all the victims of all the wars plus is keeping history alive. kevin is also always trying to help people as much as he can finding informations about lost relatives in ww2 in fallingbostel Stalag camps.
Now where is the problem? Due to the museum building being really old and broken the museum is being evicted. We are currently trying to find a new building for all the precious historical items but the costs are just to expensive for the few volunteers that work for museum. With only 6 euros / 5,10 pounds and enough people to donate we could manage a lot and keep the history and memories of so many people alive. So I am asking you for remembrance of maybe your dad, uncle, aunt, grandparents or any other family member let us not forget. Let us not get rid of so many items that have such a long history. Or even if you lived in Germany before or just want to help another tankie or do something good this Christmas you can help with the smallest amount. Just think how easily we usually spent money on a pack of smokes, a drink or a nice meal but without those that gave their lives for our freedom (so that we are able to do this now) it should only be small price to pay to not forget.
You may now ask about funding from the government and why they don't help. We are proud that we usually just about make it moneywise with membership money, usual donations on special open days and so on. But this is just not possible and any big money funds of the government need to be applied for and be approved and that would just take too much time and it would still be uncertain to get money. If you want more informations about the museum work visit us on facebook under fallingbostel military museum (and see for yourself how much work we are putting into this) or the museum website https://fallingbostelmilitarymuseum.jimdo.com where there is also a PayPal button to donate under *spenden*. And this would also be the paypaladress: [email redacted]
As we are a verein we don't pay taxes so no money gets spent on the government.
Please my friend I am counting on you!
