Mill Restoration

Tax deductible
Durham Water Wheel Powered Mill Restoration Fund
Durham Pennsylvania Historical Society ( durhamhistoricalsociety.org ) is asking your help to restore the Old Durham Mill to a functional state again.
It ceased operation in 1967 but was kept in reasonably good condition due to being gifted to the township and partially used as a US post office
A quote of $80k was given to the Historical Society by a millwright to properly repair the long neglected water wheel and milling machinery and that is the fund's goal.
Please consider donating $5 - $10 to get us closer to our goal. No donation is too small!
Once repaired, the mill will be open to the public for demonstration of grain milling and historical education about the surrounding area.
Durham had been a supplier of weapons and ammunition to the American revolution as it was the site of an Iron furnace in the 1700's
Many Thanks in advance-- DHS
