Mill View Court- Walking for Wellbeing
Donation protected
The Department of Health reports that art can ease anxiety and stress for both patients and care staff; it has also been found to increase morale and improve communication between service users and staff. The Mill View Court team would like to raise money to create a piece of wall art to refresh our garden and activity room area. We hope this will improve the overall atmosphere of the ward and make the garden area a positive and peaceful space for patients to spend time during their recovery journey.
We are planning to walk a whopping 27.8km, starting at the Humber Trust headquarters, walking to each of the seven mental health in-patient wards across the city.
All donations to support our goal would be very much appreciated!
Thank you!
