Millbrook Healthcare - MM4C

Hi everyone!

Some of you may know me and for those that do not, my name is Jayne Green, and I work for Millbrook Healthcare Procurement Team in Totton.

I am organising a charity walk AGAIN, Millbrook Marching for Cancer, (MM4C) on a treadmill here at Head Office to raise money for Brain Cancer Tumour.

Unfortunately, many of us have been touched by cancer, through a personal diagnosis or a family member, friend or work colleague diagnosed with disease.

This time we will walk from Lands’ End to Dover, approximately 392 miles. A few more miles than our last charity walk (Head Office, Totton to Newcastle upon Tyne approx 329 mils).

I have twisted arms to gather a group of us at Head Office, and we will walk via a Treadmill, Lunchtime, Morning or Evening walks to raise money.

We all know the mental and physical benefits of exercise. And it is a brilliant way to raise money – setting a challenge and getting people to sponsor you. Doing it in a team of colleagues is an excellent way to keep morale and motivation up, too.

I am encouraged by the support and donations I have already received; would you be willing to contribute to my fundraiser?

We are aiming to beat our last charity walk, which was £1350, so please support us and donate as much as you can.
