Please Help! Apodaca/Miller Family Auto Accident

On Wednesday, 12-26-18, the day after Christmas, Aryssa and Natalia (my grandchildren) were involved in a near head on collision while spending Christmas with their dad in Oregon.  All three were transported to the nearest hospital by ambulance in Oregon. Then, my younger granddaughter had to be airlifted to the trauma unit at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Washington for serious injuries.   She had been found unconscious at the scene of the accident. 

On Thursday, 12-27-18 Toni Nicole (my daughter) flew out from Albuquerque to be with them not knowing what condition they were in.  The only thing we knew at that time was that Natalia was bruised and in pain holding her sister’s hand and talking to her while Aryssa was unconscious being airlifted to the trauma unit in Washington.  

We have since found out that my oldest granddaughter has bruises and a chest contusion but thankfully no serious injuries known as of this time.  She still has a lot of chest,  abdominal,  and knee pain.  My youngest granddaughter regained consciousness on Thursday and has a concussion, a large laceration on her forehead, and a broken nose which she underwent surgery for and their dad has a broken left wrist and stitches on his right hand. 

Thankfully my grandchildren and their dad are all recovering from their injuries and have been released from the hospital.

This was very unexpected, as you can imagine.  The medical expenses along with airline flights, hotel expenses, car rental, and parking fees are already mounting.   My daughter and granddaughter still need to travel back home from Washington when Aryssa is cleared by the doctors and then there will also be follow up  appointments with a concussion specialist.   Also, the vehicle was totaled, and their dad will be out of work while he recovers.
