Miller to Mayo

Hello, as many of you may know I am Karlie's younger sister. I am raising funds to help Karlie get the help she desperately needs and deserves after 3 long years of battling colorectal cancer and post operative reoccurring infections. She is currently bedridden and in a lot of pain follow what we hoped would be her final major surgery. Her next steps would be finding alternative care with a specialist in Rochester, Minnesota at Mayo Clinic. She has made initial contact to start compiling her chart and images and was told her information would be reviewed by the triage team in 3-5 days. She is early in the stages of this process and getting scheduled.

These funds will be used for travel expenses, lodging, and helping with bills as Nathan has been missing work and he will continue to miss because he is her primary caregiver. The goal is ultimately to lighten the financial burden as they continue to seek medical answers and an end to this journey.
