Updated news on Cabby!

Health Update: Cabby has met with the vet internist. Great news! The internist does not believe Cabby has megaesophagus. However, we are still in search of the root cause of his health issues. Cabby had an endoscopy and more extensive imaging done today and also had bloodwork sent out. Unfortunately, the cost of today’s appointment surpasses the goal set for his go fund me. Thank you to those of you that have been able to donate and/or share this post and to those considering doing the same. We cannot express the extent of our gratitude! Cabby is doing well and we look forward to finding answers to ensure a healthy happy life for him!

History: For those of you that know me, you also know Cabby, aka my “sweet angel baby”. Cabby has and continues to be a special case. From about 4 weeks old to now about 9 months old he has had ongoing gastrointestinal issues and is very small for his age. It wasn’t until a recent emergent disimpaction that we have moved full steam ahead to get to the root of what’s causing all of this. We are expecting a winding road ahead of us to determine the root cause of this condition and finding what treatments will prove best for him. Unfortunately we are also expecting the cost of such things to add up very quickly- on top of his most recent procedure. I want to ensure we are able to provide Cabby with the best approach for his success and comfort along the way. We thank everyone in advance for your donations and for sharing this post!
