Milo going to the orthopedic surgeon

hey my name is Carley and I have a 3.5 year old english mastiff, named Milo. who i absolutely adore, but also got with my ex who was contributing to half the bills but due to unforeseen issues can no long be in milos life. So I have taken on his vet bills, and just raising him by myself, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, I just was not prepared after already spending a couple thousand in vet bills already this past year to do it again. He got rejected from pet insurance as a puppy due to preexisting conditions. Right now he is lame in his front paw to the point where he wont put weight on it, the vet and i thought it was due to a tick bourn illness but with a week of meds there hasnt been much change, and hes struggle to get around so they recommended bringing to an orthopedic surgeon for xrays and a consult. they worry it could be a torn ligament or something worse. the consult and xrays itself will be 2-3 grand and if he needs surgery it would be another 4-6 grand. We would really appreciate the help to stay together and help heal him. I just started a new career where I am making less than i have in a while. he goes the 21st for xrays!
