Milo Moo vet

**update** we’ve had to get the NG tube due to him not improving. Addition bill of $3,600. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has helped out so far. We feel beyond blessed by the support that has been shown to us ❤️

**update** his labs are not improving where they need to be and right now we’re looking at another $2,000 charge for him to stay an extra day and to be getting an NG tube. For a total of around $6,000. We’re still hoping to avoid that but that’s the direction we’re starting to head to.

Good morning, my name is Shelby Hadden.

Milo moo is our 1 year old Aussie.

this morning (3am) we awoke to milo and our golden retriever both crying in their crates. When we got up to see, they were both covered in vomit. milos vomit was bloody and he proceeded to go about 4-5 more times. So I packed them both up and took them to the emergency vet.

Remi (golden) improved and seemed like his normal self on the way there with no more vomit. Milo however was inconsolable the whole ride whining and continuing to vomit.

when we got to the vet he was given an anti nausea injection and while he was still clearly uncomfortable, he showed improvement, so both the vet and myself thought we were on our way to a discharge. The vet decided to run baseline labs as a precaution which was lucky, bc his labs indicated he clearly had internal hemorrhage into his guts. She could believe he was somewhat normal as most dogs with his labs can not stand or walk. But that’s our milo.

we literally just cancelled our pet insurance to switch to a different plan so unfortunately, we’re no longer covered. We just moved into an apartment from our house on base and are currently paying both the house rent and the apartment rent and we can barely manage that.
