Through deep small group experiences of nature, culture, self, and community we are inspiring a way of being that is rooted in a profound love of life while inspiring a life of love and wellbeing. Our method is not only amazing for our clients, but it includes an ecological and social ethic that is critical in everything we do.

I have worked in the world of wellness and healing for nearly 25 years now: in hospitals, resorts, clinics, wellness centers, spiritual communities, and with travel groups around the world. On my last trip, I was more than amazed, as always, at how a travel experience guided with a careful method that blends small group facilitation, mindfulness coaching, intimate experiences of nature and culture, and the careful reconnection to our most authentic lives and sense of meaning is the most potent process I have ever been a part of.
Travel, with intention and design, can heal, awaken, inform and restore people in the most magical way. After all these years of refining my approach, myself, my wife Uxia, and our dear business partner Mark are eager and ready to share this way of Being With Life and travel with the world.
Our vision for Mindful Wellness Travel is to make these extraordinary experiences available to a wide range of people through trips of all distances, all price points, and wide accessibility levels. Our "Remembering Wholeness Method" is the heart of what we do and it shines wherever a small group of people are willing - downtown Denver, uptown Manhatten, tropical Mexico, Indian villages, or the safari-lands of Southern Africa.
We now have partners at the ready all over the world; ready to host trips and create life-changing experiences for our guests. They are only waiting for us to find a way to organize and develop infrastructure at a higher level, market and promote so that the stories of transformation can begin.
Another part of this project will be to offer our method and years of experience and refinement to other companies, groups, healing systems, resorts, and beyond. Through consulting and authoring another book we will extend the gifts of our travel offerings far beyond our own trips and for people everywhere.

Wellness tourism is a $639 million dollar market, with a 10% growth per year. We offer something extremely rare and unique,
but need to invest in promotion amid the noise. Research shows that our marketing costs could be high - but relatively low for what we can achieve in a short time.

This business also represents an important opportunity of stability for our family. We remain dedicated to our work at the Althea Center, a non-profit in Denver, yet the income from a not for profit spiritual center is not reliably what a family of four can live on in Colorado. To launch Mindful Wellness Travel is both a support to our family and our larger community, allowing us to remain in service without distress.
