Mindfulness Room for Eastwood Elementary School

Hi there! My name is Mina Sun, and I am a Life Scout from BSA Troop 606. I am currently working towards Eagle Scout rank, and one of the biggest parts of earning Eagle is to carry out an Eagle Project. An Eagle Project is a project that an older Scout plans and implements to benefit their community while developing leadership skills by leading younger Scouts to help with their project. My Eagle Project idea is to improve Eastwood Elementary by providing it with a relaxing place for students to go by painting an indoor inspirational mural, as well as including plant wall art, bean bags, pillows, and carpets. Having an inspirational mural and nature-themed mindfulness room can help students increase focus, attention, and self-control, as well as decrease stress (proven by science!). This leads students into being happier with increased self-esteem and doing better socially and academically. To make this happen, I need your support! I appreciate your donations and help! :)
