Mindy Nesbitt Memorial Fund

Our beautiful sister, mother, daughter, granddaughter and friend Mindy has been battling for her life for years . She has autoimmune disease, psoriatic arthritis, lyme disease and psoriasis. To name a few. She has hit many bumps in the road due to her autoimmune disease which have altered her way of life drastically. Not long after she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Kiley, she started experiencing fluid in her knees. This was the beginning of her inability to walk on her own and the downward spiral with psoriatic arthrits. Through the years she has become increasingly worse, to the point she has been bed ridden for the past few years. Her amazingly strong soul is matched to her age of 34 and her body is that of a 90 year old. She has been in and out of hospitals. Almost monthly. She tried with all her might to fight through her diseases, at home, in the care of her mother and brother David. It got to the point that was just no longer an option for her. At 34 years old it is hard to accept you need to live in assisted living. Mindy, being the brave person she is, fought with all her might to make it so she didn't need to live in the care of others. Unfortunately, her body wasn't allowing her plan to follow through. She has been admitted to a Rest Home since April of this year. Shortly after, it was decided that she needs to begin Hospice Care to keep her as most comfortable as possible. It breaks our hearts to report, she is in her final days. Mindy is the strongest, most inspiring person and has an amazing ablility to keep a positive attitude through all of this.

As many of you remember, Mindy is a vibrant, sassy, gorgeous, strong willed, hard working and independant woman. She was the most giving person,  whether it be a lesson on makeup, advice, the shirt off her back or her last dollar. She has the biggest heart. She has an imense love for her daughter, her number one, her mini-me and most caring little girl who is now 11 years old. Anyone who knows Kiley knows they are two peas in a pod and have an uncanny resemblence. She was an outstanding mother and even on her darkest days her number one concern has always been Kiley. She could force a smile for her through all the pain just to make sure Kiley was ok with any and every visit. Her sister Katelynn has also been a huge support system in her life. Constanlty making the trip up to New Hampshire to be with her sister and her mother. She has always been there to support her. Marty aka Padre' Pappy and Dad would drop anything and everything for her to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. Her friends and family are her life. She is not one to enjoy being alone, rather in the company of her friends and family. All of which have stepped up to help out whenever and however they could over the years. There is one thing Mindy has never been lacking and that's love. Anytime I would go see Mindy, she had endless stories of all her friends in family and  loved to listen to anything going on in our life. These memories kept her going and kept her alive through everything she has endured. And let's just say the pain, agony and suffering she has gone through is indescribable and beyond unfair.

At this time we are asking anyone and everyone to consider helping us during this time, it is all too clear we need to arrange for services and we want to make sure we have what is best for Mindy. We are humbled to ask for your help and anything, in any amount ,will help. Anything we raise that exceeds the amount we will need for her services will go directly into a college fund for her daughter Kiley. We appreciate all the love you have had for Mindy over the years or the support you have for our family. May Mindy be in your prayers at this time, may she find the peace she deserves and may we all have the strength to comfort her daughter at this time. Thank you and God Bless.
