Minerva Camacho Fund

Minerva Camacho was a recent widow, a mother of 2, had 2 grandchildren, a daughter, and was one of 11 siblings. She was raised in Del Rey, California and graduated from Sanger High School.
She moved to Southern California where she met her Husband John Camacho. They got married and started a family in Chino Hills while she worked and eventually retired from Cal Poly Pomona. She recently moved back to Sanger to reunite with her family and was living her best life. She loved entertaining, and spending time with her entire family. Since moving back to Sanger; she was the glue to the family. She worked hard her entire career to provide for her family and adored her children and grandkids. Minerva was making up for all the lost time away from her family and enjoyed every second of it before her life was tragically taken from her. She was hit by a vehicle that was being pursued (Sanger Police Department) in a high speed chase in a residential neighborhood. Minerva heroically saved her granddaughter’s life by pushing her out of the harms way before she was struck by the vehicle that eventually took her life. She was struck by and was pinned under the vehicle in front of her grandson, granddaughter, daughter and son in law. Minerva eventually passed from the injuries she sustained from the incident.
Minerva was such a Beautiful Soul and was a ray of sunshine when she walked into the room. She put everyone first and was truly loved by all.
The funds will be used for her funeral expenses and all-the funds will be sent directly to her children to manage.
