Urgent Aid for Ukraine

My name is Alexander Tolba, and currently, I deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine and drive families from Eastern Ukraine to safe locations in other parts of the country and the EU. 

I was born in Kyiv, I am 35 years old and live in Germany. When the war began, I decided to quit my job and go to Ukraine to help. I speak Russian, German and English.

Since the start of the war, I have delivered humanitarian aid from Poland into Ukraine and helped many families driving over 32
,000 kilometers from and to Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernowitzy, Slovyansk, Bahmut, Severo Donezk, Krakow/Warsaw in Poland, and Prevessin in France. At each destination, collections of medicine, hygiene products, and food have been organized to ensure that the van goes back fully loaded to Ukraine.

Until now, I have relied on my own funds and charity from friends. As the destruction continues, I need to scale the operation and purchase an additional van or truck to bring more people out and deliver more medicine on the return journeys.

 

Estimated costs for a second-hand vehicle, fuel, food, and housing for one month are 10k euros. I am fundraising to be able to continue my work for another two months.

I hope the war will end as soon as possible, the suffering is immense, the damage vast.
