Ministry Internship in Nicaragua
Donation protected
Hello friends, if you’re reading this you likely already know who I am and a little bit about my internship this summer, but if you don’t please take some time to read about me. My name is Maddie, I’m 18 and a freshman in college. Two years ago I was invited to intern in Managua Nicaragua with the ministry House of Hope. Due to circumstances I was unable to do the internship last summer, but I will be flying down at the end of May for six weeks. House of Hope is a ministry dedicated to helping women break the chains of prostitution while providing them with the knowledge to enter into the workforce; this usually means baking, sewing, cutting hair, or starting some other small business. On my first trip to Nicaragua I was blown away by the beauty of the country, the kindness of their people, and the work God was doing there. I hope to be able to work with the children of the women in their after school program and in bible study during their Tuesday morning service. Thank you for taking the time to read about this incredible opportunity and feel free to share or donate, every bit of help is appreciated!
