Minnie's Spine Surgery

This is a former rescue dog through Mending Hearts Rescue of Rockford, IL and my former foster puppy, Minnie.

She is a 7 yo Doxie/Shih Tzu X diagnosed with intervertebral disc

disease, that came on suddenly on 5/22/23 and required an emergency surgery that's going to be upwards of $8K.

Without this surgery, Minnie would be in constant pain, lose the use of her back legs, and lose control of her bowel & bladder.

Dr. Aper at Blue Pearl in IA, an experienced and board certified surgeon, will be doing the operation today (5/23/23.)

This has created a HUGE financial hardship to her elderly, fixed income parents. I know this family personally and the love they have for their little Minnie.

None of us expect such extenuating circumstances when adopting an animal. I didn't with my Louie and you all stepped up to the plate then, and I'm begging for you to once again open your hearts by sharing our fundraiser, or if so inclined -- a donation of ANY amount would be so gratefully appreciated.
