Minor setback… Major problem

Hey friends and family. The people that REALLY know me are well aware that I’m the last one who ever asks for help. Friday, 3/24, I wasn’t feeling too well. As the day progressed, I was feeling worse and worse. I finally allowed my son to talk me into going to the hospital. Immediately following my CAT scan they brought me in for an emergency appendectomy.
Unfortunately, because of previous abdominal surgeries (2 c-sections, 2 bowel resections, an ostomy, reverse ostomy and hernia mesh repair) they weren’t able to do the “easy peasy” laparoscopic removal. I was left with a large gaping wound and a wound pump (Google it … it’s pretty interesting). It will likely be several more days before I’m released from Imperial Point and even then will be home with a wound care nurse until everything “comes together” again. Between co-pays and missing work I really don’t know how I’m going to make it through without the generosity and caring hearts of the people I love. I understand that in these difficult financial times that not many of us have disposable income and I would be grateful for ANYTHING you might be able to spare. Thank you in advance and know that I love and appreciate all of you. Your calls, texts and messages have meant the world to me ❤️❤️❤️❤️
