Hello all, I am Liza Kotar. GoFundMe asked to be more specific about my cause, which I am more than happy to do!
My cousin and I are trying to raise money for this charity that is fundraising for struggling orphans who are also on hospice. We are both not directly related to the orphanage, but found out about the cause and find it an important one. My cousin, who is living in Belarus found out about this and wanted to raise money in America and Belarus for the cause. We will be sending these funds directly to the non-profit, Prosferondas. I will transfer them from my american bank account to my cousin's account so he can withdraw them independently. You can check the non profit out on prosphora.by .

To illustrate the intensity of their need, I would like to share an excerpt from an article about the hospice which my cousin translated, "This is Yulia. She’s been in an orphanage near Minsk for fifteen years. Her parents were alcoholics. She’s twenty years old now, but weighs only 25 pounds. She should be at least 125, but she can’t digest the hearty food she’s given by the orphanage. You feed her, you feed her, but she only vomits it out. Or the food just sits in her stomach. But the Belarussian government won’t give her orphanage the money to buy enteral nutrition (food given through a feeding tube)."
