Miracle for Milton Perry
Donation protected
Please help me raise money to pay for Milton’s many bills related to advanced abdominal cancer which was diagnosed this past spring. Knowing the thousands of lives he touched while being a phenomenal photographer for over 50 years in Philadelphia, I’m hoping our community and other compassionate souls can donate ANY amount to help me manage his care. He is going through a very rough time now, having been in the ER three times so far this summer. Gleevec, a daily low dose chemo pill, has shown some promise, but it still is a daily uphill battle for him.
We need everyone to rally for Milton, show your support, and continue to say pray for his long term recovery. His quiet, humble demeanor never matched the magnitude of the images he shot which were bold, beautifully lit, and always stunningly beautiful. His impact on the modeling world from 1980 on was never matched by another photographer in Philly. He was meant for stardom but chose to be in the background as a silent observer, and not an in-your-face egomaniac, like so many photographers back then. The Phila. Inquirer did an article about him last week, and is worth reading. Here is the link: (please copy and paste it in your browser)
(I read all the notes to Milton, so keep posting or send a special note with your donation).
With many thanks and endless gratitude,
Debbie
