Miracle Mike's Recovery
Donation protected
Mike was admitted into the hospital on April 4th for unresolved fevers and not feeling well. What they thought could be a simple treatment turned out to be a quick downward spiral, with Mike barely clinging to life. He was put on a ventilator, feeding tube, dialysis and into an induced coma.
Thanks to the power of prayer and Mike’s amazing willingness to fight for his life, he is off the vent, out of the coma, and alert and talking! However, he continues to have major health issues and complications, and will remain hospitalized.
Mike suffers with two autoimmune diseases; Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Rheumatoid Arthritis (dx age 11) and Still’s Disease (dx age 17). He has had both shoulders, hips, knees, and one ankle replaced before the age of 35.
He lives in Neosho, WI with his significant other Carrie and their four children, ages 1, 3, 12 and 14. Carrie works full time and up until his hospitalization, Mike was home caring for the younger children.
This site was created in an effort to help minimize Carrie and Mike’s added stress of unexpected expenses that have accrued since his hospitalization. He is making small steps in recovering, but has a long way to go and will likely be hospitalized for an indefinite amount of time.
Mike and Carrie have touched the lives of so many of us, and for those who don’t know them, they are both amazing people that would do anything to help someone in need. So now it’s our turn, let’s help them get some financial relief so they can focus on Mike’s recovery!
We so graciously thank you for taking the time to read this, and for all the prayers and positive thoughts! Carrie and Mike are beyond humbled and grateful for the help and support of everyone!
