Help for the Greiner Family
On Saturday, March 19, Mike Greiner experienced sudden cardiac arrest while doing what he does best - serving - in this case, his community, while delivering mulch with his son's Rangers troop. He has been in the ICU since then. He was originally put into a medically induced coma but he has not yet regained consciousness. His family waits and hopes for a miracle while medical bills are beginning to pile up. Even in the best case scenario, Mike will be unable to work for months and his wife, Khristie, will lose income as she cares for him.
A beloved husband, dedicated dad of four children ages 12 to 21, thoughtful high school English teacher, fantastic coach and a dear friend, Mike is a pillar of the community. He is loved by many and has always given generously of his time, talent, and love to his family, friends, neighborhood, church, and school. At various times throughout any given year, Mike can be found coaching basketball, overseeing debate tournaments, organizing block parties, and volunteering in numerous capacities at church each week.
He always gives so much . . . now we can give back to him and his family and support them in their time of need.
Our goal is fluid as we face the reality of their needs - medical, mortgage, daily expenses - thank you for walking with them through this. We are so overwhelmed with your generous response; every penny helps them focus on Mike instead of financial concerns. ~Thank you!
