My friends, and newlyweds, John Kevin and Bridie Conneely, gave birth to a miracle this past week, and her name is Mae. Mae was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and she's got a long road ahead of her.

After 14 hours, she's just completed her first open heart surgery, and she's defying the odds so far.
