Miracles For Angelica Dabu

Our ohana (family in Hawaiian) here at the Hawaii Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (HCCRS) is trying to raise funds for Angelica Dabu. We have known Angelica for 4 years now, serving as our Webmaster, Social Media Director and Young Adult Coordinator locally, and as Pentecost Today USA’s Council member nationally. As a member of the HCCRS Worship Team, she has dedicated her life to leading others to worship the Lord. She has brought people closer to God through her passion for music and generous giving of her time and presence to her community. To many of us, she is more than just a minister and friend, she is family who is precious and dear to us.

On March 13, 2023, she suffered a stroke while leading praise and worship, which left her with left-sided weakness. Her kidneys were in bad shape, and her blood pressure and blood sugar needed to be constantly regulated. During her stay at the hospital, a lump was found on her left cheek, and biopsy results showed it to be parotid gland cancer. In addition to the ongoing physical therapy, she has to undergo head and neck surgery soon, with possible additional radiation therapy or chemotherapy.

While Angelica has made progress toward her recovery, we would like to knock on everyone’s hearts to help support her growing medical expenses. With your generous contribution, we believe that we can, as a community, give her and her family peace of mind and comfort by helping to alleviate some of the financial burdens from accruing hospital bills and living expenses. The funds raised will be managed by Angelica's eldest sister Daisy Tumbaga who is currently taking care of her.
