Help Miranda pay her tuition
Donation protected
Miranda has recently left the FLDS community and is working hard to put her life together. She's incredibly intelligent and is determined to get an education. Since leaving the community, she has been working 50-60 hour work weeks to save enough money to go to school. Miranda got a 35 on her ACT test, but she was homeschooled and does not have a GPA, which disqualifies her from applying for many of the available scholarships. Once she gets through her first year of college, she will have a GPA and should easily qualify for the Presidential Scholarship which will cover her college tuition until she graduates. She just has to get through this first year of school to be able to apply for all the different available scholarships. She has saved up enough money to cover her first semester of school and her housing this fall, but is still short for spring semester. She will have to continue to work 50-60 hour weeks while going to school full time to be able to earn enough to cover spring semester.
She has never asked for help and she doesn't know that I am doing this fundraiser for her, but I know there are so many people who are generous and would be willing to lift and support her. It's my hope that as a community, we can present her with enough money to pay for her spring semester and give her some peace of mind and hopefully allow her to get through fall semester without having to work 50 hour weeks on top of her full time school schedule. If you are willing to donate a little bit of money to help her out, it will be a huge blessing to her.
