Hello and Namaste everyone,

I am Mira Gurung and I am taking a Triathlon challenge which consists of 1500m open water swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. It will be in Perak, Malaysia on 14th June 2025 and I am participating in this event to raise money for Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT).

I am a military spouse and I would like to give back to the Gurkha Veterans who rely on GWT. Gurkhas have served in the British Army for over 200 years and they are known for their loyalty and bravery.

Established in 1969, The GWT exists to ensure that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity. The Trust provides medical aid, clean water and sanitation, schools, residential homes, etc.
