Miriam Beyer Medical Expenses

I'm here to share the story of my sweet sister-in-law, Miriam. The summer of 2020 brought quite a shock to Miriam and our family. That summer, she was diagnosed with late stage Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer). The last several years have been full of trials and tribulations, and being the strong and selfless woman she is, she’s chosen to keep mostly quiet and share only the positive outcomes. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers. For those who are able and willing, we’ve also reached a time where we would appreciate your donations toward treatment-related expenses. When Miriam was diagnosed she was forced to quit the job she loved for so many years as a dance teacher. While she is fortunate to have insurance, many necessities are still not covered. While Miriam and Art had high hopes for the recent clinical trial at National Institute of Health in Bethesda this Fall, it appears to have been unsuccessful. Your donations would help cover outstanding costs associated with medications, hospital stays, and travel for treatment opportunities and continued care. 

Every day is a blessing, but when you’re living with cancer, it’s also a battle. Each day is spent fighting — both mentally and physically, not to mention the expense of this ongoing battle. We just want to do everything we can to keep it from also becoming an insurmountable financial burden.
