Mirtha's life changing surgery

This is Mirtha, my dearest mom.
She is 47 years old and is known for being the most charismatic and generous person she is also known for being very very big. She is super morbidly obese and is in a very delicate condition right now, in chronic pain due to arthritis and a has a very elaborate breathing which is a side effect of her current state.
Last week I manage to get her to see a doctor who was very straightforward with us and did say that her life expectancy has been dramatically shorten and the most concerning is her heart which is being way overworked.
At this point no diet nor exercise would do much for her something she was always willing to do and did for almost her whole life but having untreated hyperthyroidism for so long counter-did most of her efforts.
So our only option to get her healthy and give her a new chance to have a quality life would be a bariatric surgery, which is estimated at around 10.000$ on her very delicate case. Way more than I had prepared and saved to help her, plus keeping in mind the extras expenses we will have before and after surgery.
Needless to say she is unable to support herself in the current state she is and fully depends on my help. The surgery needs to be done the soonest possible and I'm terrified I won't have enough time to save more in order to help that is why I'm here now asking for your help.
