For those who aren't familiar with me, I am a TNR advocate, foster, rescuer and trapper in Philadelphia and New Jersey. On any given day, I might have a dozen cats under my care waiting for adoption, rescue placement, or TNR. I frequently drop everything to run and help a cat or kitten in need. This is all volunteer & no one pays me to do it but it’s my passion. As many things none of this can be done without funds. I have been funding much of this on my own for a long time.
There are some extremely generous individuals and organizations have helped with vetting cats but there are other expenses I could use assistance funding too. This is in addition to just wanting to be less reliant on others long term. Funds will help cover the expenses that go unnoticed but really add up! Here is a list of just some of the expenses I face with these projects are as follows: Gas, Meds, combo tests, unexpected medical charges from TNR appointments, and emergency vet visits! Funds may also go towards the basics if there are no available funds or donations (food, cat litter, cleaning supplies).
I have never been one to splurge on things for myself but I just want to stop the suffering of all these animals!
Kitten season is in full swing and we have a constant rotation of kittens & adults passing through our care and we even have two seniors who came to us in horrible shape & one of them is going on three months waiting for placement.
