Miserden C of E Primary School Firewalk

Hello, we are the Governors at Miserden C of E Primary School, and we invite you to support our Firewalk on 13 July 2024 to raise essential funding for our amazing rural school.

Staff, parents, governors and supporters will be literally walking barefoot over 1,600 degree fire, to support Miserden School. And you can take part too!

Why are we doing this?

As you may know there is a double classroom at the school, a separate cabin in need of essential works for it to again be an outstanding teaching space. We have secured 90% of the funding to do this, but NEED that final 10% which is just £6,500.

We are so close to adding this much needed and MASSIVE resource to the school, and with your help, we will cross that finish line!

Firewalkers Assemble!

If you’d like to take part in the Firewalk, to enrol, all you need to do is sponsor £25 or more to the event and get in touch to say that you’d like to take part. We will then add you to the list and be in touch. If we do not hear from those that have pledged £25 or more, we will assume you are a donating hero and do not wish to participate.

On the day of the firewalk, you will be given training and support to face your fears and undertake this amazing experience!

Either join the Firewalk or simply contribute anything you can. And please do share this message far and wide on social media so that we can reach that target.

Again, IF we raise £6,500 we will unlock a massive grant for the remaining 90% to spend on these essential building works at the school.

Come along on 13 July to our Firewalk event and cheer on our brave firewalkers. Children can take part too in the special Lego walk - we all know how painful they can be for the unsuspecting walker!
