On July 24th my aunt Mishelle had a stroke that would put her in the hospital for 2 weeks of icu. This is the same aunt who has steadfastly stood by friends and family for as long as I can remember never forgetting a birthday or special occasion. Though her heart was full of love the past 2 years had left her and the rest of the family financially devastated. First 1 granddaughter was beaten into a coma and then much later she lost a granddaughter to a street racer smashing into her bus stop where she had been minding her business waiting. This would devastate any family and yet Aunt Mishelle still managed to be a bedrock for her daughter's son and grandchildren, always there for a hug kiss, or pat on the back.
