Miss Black EIU 2024 Contestant

Hello! My name is Destinee Patterson and I am a student At Eastern Illinois University majoring in English Education. I am honored to announce that I will be a contestant in the Miss Black EIU Scholarship Pageant 2024!

 

The Miss Black EIU (MBEIU) Scholarship Pageant has distinguished itself as the longest-running EIU cultural tradition spanning over 50 years. Established in 1971, this "unique" cultural experience has given EIU women of African-American descent a foundation to celebrate their heritage, culture, and accomplishments in an empowering way. This year I am one of four beautiful young women that will be competing for the crown this year!

 Any financial contribution made by you all is of great appreciation. If I were to win the MBEIU I will be granted a scholarship that would aid in my educational expenses while I continue towards my degree! Thank you, and I hope to see you all February 24 at the pageant!
