Miss Coleman...she's kind of a BIG DEAL!
Donation protected
Many are familiar with her as Deb, while most know her as Miss Coleman, the ever-present school secretary who warmly greets students each morning, provides comfort and care by offering a band-aid for playground scrapes, promptly contacts parents when illness strikes, and empathetically wipes away tears during times of sadness. For over four decades, she has dedicated herself to nurturing thousands of children within our community. However, it is now time for us to care for her.
Miss Coleman is currently battling a recent diagnosis of cancer and is in the process of recovering from two unsuccessful surgeries aimed at its removal. Her journey will continue with the next phase of treatment in the upcoming spring. Despite her strong desire to return to work at Amy Woodland Elementary, she is regrettably unable to do so and does not qualify for Long Term Disability support.
Any funds raised will be allocated towards her living expenses and travel needs, thereby enabling Miss Coleman to fully concentrate on her healing process.
If this remarkable woman has ever provided you with a band-aid, ensured your safety at school, secured your lunch, conveyed a message, contacted your parents, supplied an envelope for a lost tooth, provided guidance when necessary, or wiped away a tear, please consider making a donation.
