Hello everyone, My name is Brittany, and I am a dear friend of Candice Josh and sweet Jamesleys. It has been heavy on my heart to begin this Go fund me to help this lovely family. Josh is the only one working at the moment due to Candice having to stay in the NICU. I know they would appreciate anything to help with medical expenses, gas, food, and everyday living. They are not the type to ask for help, but as a Nicu parent myself, I know how expensive things add up and how overwhelming things become. Below is their story. Josh & Candice tried for 3 years to have a baby and was told numerous times they would never have children. Little did they know god had bigger plans for them; they found out they were having their miracle baby. On April 14th, 2022, Candice was hospitalized for severe preeclampsia. Miss Jamesley couldn't hold out any longer and entered this world on April 19th, 2022, at only 29 weeks and 5 days, weighing in at 3lbs 6oz. She was absolutely beautiful and just what they had prayed so long for. On April 25th, both Candice and Josh walked into all the doctors at her bedside, claiming they didn't think she would make it through the night. But yet again, the man upstairs had bigger plans for this family. With all the prayers, knowledge of the doctors & nurses and fight from miss Jamesley, she is now 15 weeks old. She has severe BPD, which is Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia. At the NICU only the parents are allowed in due to covid restrictions. Josh is the only one able to work at the moment due to Candice being able to be with their daughter at this critical time. This has been a long road so far for this family. With the help of friends and family, I am sure anything raised will help this dear family if there is any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
