Missing 2 teeth- need dental implants!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Emma, and I am fundraising to help my twin brother, Ray, get two dental implants. He has already had a lot of dental work. He was born with some of his adult teeth fused to the jaw bone that orthos attempted to pull through the gums (which didn't work). He has also had braces. Two teeth on his bottom jaw (the second bicuspid on each side, seen in the dental mold in the picture) are missing because he was born without them. Now, Ray needs two dental implants, including putting cadaver bone into his jaw and crowns on each implant.
We usually would not ask for help, but it is unbelievably expensive for just two teeth. My brother has also had many medical issues. He couldn't finish high school because of chronic illness, pain, fatigue, vertigo, autonomic dysfunction, and other issues related to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. He is only 23, and my mom doesn't want him to have further dental problems if he does not get this procedure done soon. As his sister, I want Ray to have one less thing to worry about. He is a super kind person who always puts other people first. With everything he has gone through, he deserves to have a smile that he feels good about!
We are incredibly grateful for your help. We are hoping to raise $16,000 to cover the following expenses:
- ~$3,300 for block grafts to put cadaver bone into the jaw
- ~$5,600 for two dental implants
- ~$2,000 for two rounds of sedation
- ~$5,000 for two crowns
Thank you!
