LINC Up

Lincoln is a typical happy go lucky 6-year-old boy (now 8-year-old). He loves the Essendon FC, Lego Transformers and playing with his mates. He has a big sister Maddy whose job it is to annoy him, as much as love him, and parents, Leanne and Tyler, who like every parent want to give him a long, happy and healthy life.
In May this year, the Mackenzie family received a shock that would change their lives forever. Linc was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma (a rare bone cancer), and sadly it has spread into his lungs, hips and stomach, with the outcome uncertain. Leanne, Tyler, Linc and Maddy are now embarking on a path no parent or family should have to travel down, and we want to support them as best we can.
Time is now the most important ingredient in Linc’s treatment plan. Linc is undergoing the most aggressive form of chemo possible for a 6-year-old and needs his family by his side. But as we all know bills don’t stop, plus there are the additional medical costs, travel costs, not to mention keeping 8-year-old Maddy’s life as normal as possible.
We are calling out to our community to support the Mackenzie family, help us give Leanne and Tyler the financial support that gives them the ability to focus all their energy on their young family.
As a community lets LINC Up and support the Mackenzie’s
