FAMILY HEARTACHE OVER MISSING PERSON

Hello,

My name is Fatuma Ebrahim. I am a mother of Arefat Surur, a recent graduate and productive resident of Arlington, Virginia. I am reaching out with a mother’s desperate plea for help in finding my son who was last seen on July 30, 2022. Arefat left home headed to Shenandoah Park. His last contact with his family was on July 30, 2022. We along with law enforcement and the local community have been searching for Arefat since then without no avail. Arefat’s car was found on August 16 parked and unoccupied in Elizabeth Furnace Park.

His life is in danger and we desperately continue to look for him. To further escalate the search effort, we have a hired a professional private investigator who have the tools and the needed capabilities and resources to assist us locate Arefat.
