Missing woman, celebrating her short life!

My mother, Patricia Otto vanished from our home in Lewiston, Idaho in 1976. We were not able to celebrate her life or acknowledge her death because no one had answers when she disappeared.

We believe we found her body only to discover that Oregon cremated and lost her remains in 1990.

We are organizing a walk, on my mother’s 70th birthday and are asking for sponsors to display and or carry 70 signs during a community walk in Lewiston, Idaho. Our goal is community engagement to bring more information and leads that could help solve this case, in addition to celebrating her for the first time since 1976!

My mother never had a funeral service because her body was never found. I want to honor her short life, bring this case the attention it never received and maybe have some answers after 45 years of being told that our mother abandoned my sister and me.

Donations will be used for the event and the cost of DNA extraction on cremains we believe are my mother.

Patty’s Party will be held August 4th, 2022 in front of the Nez Perce County Courthouse in Lewiston, Idaho. Parking available nearby. Speakers will start at 5:30 PM, then we will walk together in unity with the 70 signs for 24 minutes. A brief moment of silence will be followed by our return to the courthouse and a closing statement with a small treat to celebrate her birthday.
