MISSION POSSIBLE: HAITI EDITION

On January 6th, 2023, the Biden administration passed the Humanitarian Parol program which allows U.S. citizens to sponsor persons from select poor countries including Haiti. We immediately began to sort out what it would take/cost to bring out loved ones stateside.

Since then, we have lost a cousin (35 years old) who was killed in his home when gangs set it on fire and a beloved sister (41 years old) who passed away unexpectantly without getting the proper medical attention that may have been able to save her life. Therein lies the urgency of our task; rescue from a country riddled with corruption, danger, and a broken third-world medical system. We wish there was more we could do but our focus is to get our remaining two siblings, their spouses, and children here to a safer shore ASAP.
